We ordered for a reception 2 days prior. The company delivered a wonderful amount of food. It was yummy and everyone asked who prepared the food. I gladly passed their name on. Cabbage, green beans banana pudding and the ribs were favorites!

Okay so I just moved to the area it's like day three and I'm not going to these chain places anymore, so I went to this shopping center and saw this place and I figured why not something different. I'm glad I went in there it was vibe it was chill I heard the RNb saw the chicken in the window and already knew this was gonna be great. I found out the had a a lunch special so I had to grab the lake trout, tired of whiting and tilapia and trying to stay away from catfish but anyway I got a few fried up pieces with a side of cabbage. My I got my wife the salmon dinner she smashed it I tell you nothing went to waste lol. But I definitely will be back to try some other stuff, I think I heard the lady say they do smothered pork chops if so yes . Oh and they do a military discount which was dooe as well.
I chose Southern Blues for dinner from a Google search for restaurants near me. The pictures of the food and decor looked good. They were accurate! The food was delicious! My fish was fried fresh, the Mac and cheese was amazing and the collard greens were cooked perfectly. Service was also very good! From the nice young man who took my order to the sunny personality young woman who brought my food out!
Entered the location with my family after a fried chicken craving. The setting was simple a few booths and chairs. R & b played in the background while we waited. Service was great, friendly and patient as we picked our selections. We all ordered the fried chicken leg quarter meal. Sides we tried were Mac n cheese, collard greens, mash potatoes with turkey gravy and french fries. All meals came with a small corn bread that was moist & not super sweet. The Mac n cheese was gooey, the collard greens were in a great broth, the gravy and mash were so tasty. Family was definitely happy with the chicken and would love to try more so can't wait to go back!
Stopped by here while I was waiting for my late flight. They sell Southern food; Fried/baked chicken, smothered turkey wings, fried catfish, baked salmon, Mac & cheese, cabbage, yams & pasta salad to name a few. There is also a plethora of fresh sweets to choose from; cakes pies and cheesecakes. I ordered the fried catfish dinner and opted for double Mac for my two sides. The lady at the register was really sweet and the food was prepared and packaged fairly quick. I would definitely recommend if you're in the area. Enter freely, they've been approved
Food was good. Seasoned nicely. I had collards, mac and cheese and catfish. The batter on the fish was not heavy and it was seasoned nicely. Greens were good also seasoned nicely. Mac and cheese was good..mines is better but I'd eat it again. Portions were nice. I ate half for dinner and the other half for lunch. My besties got the lake trout with hush puppies. They were grab and also good. We both enjoyed our dessert..cheesecake for here-not too heavy and sweet potato pie for me. It was creamy. I wish there was nutmeg I it but it still was good.
This place was absolutely DELICIOUS...I mean the flavors of the food were on point...nothing was lacking seasoning and nothing was overly seasoned...it's a joy to have an actual SOUL FOOD spot in the area that actually has DELICIOUS food...the service was amazing in all ways for sure...the lady behind the counter was very knowledgeable on the menu items and was very friend as well...it's very chill, laid back and CLEAN inside this establishment... That Strawberry Lemonade & Half & Half(PHENOMENAL) my goodness! 10/10 for me and I definitely RECOMMEND
